Features

Connect the positive terminal of the AA battery holder to one end of the resistor.

Connect the other end of the resistor to the anode (longer lead) of the LED.

Connect the cathode (shorter lead) of the LED to one of the test probes.

Connect the other test probe to the negative terminal of the battery holder (ground).

When you touch the test probes together, the LED should light up if there is continuity (a closed circuit).
