Converting Scales Converting : The VGT series could support up to 10 scales. Temperature Systems Converting The VGT Series digital refractometer supports conversion between two temperature units: Celsius (0.0~40.0°C) and Fahrenheit (32~104.0°F).Press the "SCALE" button for 2 seconds to convert the temperature unit.If the temperature conversion limit is exceeded, the temperature display area displays a mark such as "HHH" or "LLL". Press "READ" button make up the machine startup; 2. Open the cover, drop some water into the mirror by using pipette; 3. Close the cover, press "READ" button for 1~2s, when LCD display shows 0.0% finish calibration; 4. Clean the water on the mirror by using the cleaning cloth; 5. Use the straw to draw the liquid to be tested into the mirror, then close the cover; 6. Finally, press "READ"button, we will see the testing result on LCD display. Maintenance and Preservation Please clean and wash the sample plate with distilled water and dry it with soft cleaning cloth or paper towel after finishing the measurement of one kind sample. After finishing measurements of the corrosive liquid, please clean the sample plate as quick as possible to avoid the irreparable damage of the prism and metal surface of the plate. Please use soft cleaning cloth or paper towel to clean the sample plate to avoid scribing the prism’s glass. If no using the instrument for a long time, please remove the battery, and preserved in a cool and dry environment.
