Designed for emergency and disaster preparedness, the KA350 Voyager Trek provides various power options including an optional AC/DC adapter, three AAA batteries (not included), and a rechargeable Li-ion battery that can be charged through an AC adapter (not included), hand cranking, solar panel, or a PC. The solar panel not only maintains a fully charged battery but also powers the radio when no battery is present. With its advanced design and versatile features, it is a perfect companion for emergency situations, outdoor activities, and travel. Like its counterpart, the KA500, the KA350 has a replaceable rechargeable battery which can be purchased here. At its core, the KA350 features an internal generator that powers the radio and flashlight while recharging the internal Li-ion battery pack. On the side of the radio, there is a USB jack for charging cell phones, MP3 players, and other devices. You can receive a wide range of broadcasting including AM, FM, shortwave and NOAA weather stations. The 7-weather channels are pre-programmed and numbered from 1-7, you can easily and conveniently tune into the stations by adjusting the switch, no more guess work involved.
